I recently stayed at Flying Fox Backpackers for a weekend getaway from Sydney. The central location was perfect, just a 5-minute walk from the train station and main cafes and shops. The room was comfortable, and the evening fire in the lounge area created a cozy atmosphere. The staff went above and beyond, making my stay memorable. The vegan curry dinner was delicious, and I loved the no-screen time policy that encouraged socializing and playing musical instruments. Being next to a large fruit market was also convenient. I'll definitely be coming back!

Had a great time spending my xmas at this hostel! The location was perfect, just a short walk from the train station and close to Scenic World and the Blue Mountains. The owner was really friendly and helpful, giving me advice on what activities to do in the area. The room was spacious and even had an electric blanket to keep me warm in the cold Katoomba nights. The other guests were also friendly, and we even had a fun barbecue one night. a nice and cozy place to spend the holidays.
There were a few downsides to my stay. The shower in the main bathroom didn't have enough hot water, but luckily there were two other showers that worked fine.

The location of this hostel was absolutely perfect! It was just a short drive away from some of the most beautiful hiking spots in the Blue Mountains. Plus, there was a grocery store conveniently located right next door. And let's not forget the comfy beds! After a long day of exploring, it was so nice to come back to a cozy bed and get a good night's sleep.
The occasional noise from passing trains and traffic. I had a room that was closest to the road, so it was a bit louder for me.

The atmosphere at this hostel was incredible, just like being at a friend's cozy cottage. The staff were so friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home. The wood stove fire in the common area was a great touch, keeping us warm and adding to the homely vibe. Free breakfast and coffee were a huge bonus, and the free advice from the staff always came in handy. The location was perfect, nestled in the heart of nature with breathtaking views of the mountains. I had an amazing time here.
That it got a little chilly at night, as there wasn't much heating available. But they provided extra blankets to keep warm, so it wasn't a major issue.
